We stayed there for 3 days a family of 4. Within the hot temperatures of Cartagena, the pool is very welcoming for us and especially our kids. The room was perfect and has every amenities that we needed. The location is prime for this hotel boutique where everything is walkable and it’s only 5 min away from Serrezuela mall. Great restaurants, 3rd wave coffee shops, artisanal shops and others commodities are about 5-7 min away by walk. We will recommend this to our friends and families. We stayed in Patio Corao for a few nights and it is such a beautiful place. The building itself is gorgeous, we took so many pretty photos there. The room we stayed was one of the cheaper ones so it didn’t have windows but it was huge and very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful, arranging laundry for us at a very reasonable price and offering recommendations for the area. Location wise, it is in the heart of the old town and within walking distance of Getsamani neighbourhood. I highly recommend. One thing to be aware of is they do not serve food but there are plenty of options locally. From the moment we stepped through the front door, we were greeted with a warm smile and a refreshing lemon and mint ice cream. The hotel is beautiful and welcoming; the room was spacious and clean, with air conditioning and a lovely view of San Felipe Castle. During our stay, there was only one minor inconvenience, completely unrelated to the hotel (a power outage in the city center). The location is perfect for walking to several restaurants (we were recommended Amasa, which we found excellent, and we also tried Quero Arepa), and La Serrezuela is about a ten-minute walk away. Museums and the clock tower are also within walking distance. We were very pleased with the service and would definitely stay here again.
